I am a Repeat Customer @ marena's and very pleased with the compression products. I "push" marena @ such places as Cedars-Sinai Hospital in SoCal... and with other "older" athletes who really need compression. Why just a "Four Star" review? I do not think a "Five" exisits. **And the Customer Service @ marena is beyond positive.
Real compression similar to Zoot and more so than Skins. For optimal fit, would prefer a center seam in the rear. Pouch not alarming and waist height is perfect (doesn’t not roll down and supportive of the lower back). Light colors, i.e., grey, will readily show any sweat but does dry very quickly. Size M, 6”1’, waist 33,”, thigh 23”, 182 lbs.
These tights are my gear item of choice for all of my races and hard training sessions. They pull on so easily with the inside logo on my left hip. You can feel the quality of the compression when you put them on, evenly spread out over the whole legs and butt. With other tights, I used to supplement the compression with calf sleeves but I don’t need to with marena. There’s a little bit of extra space in the front for manliness, which improves my comfort while also reducing chafing. The fabric is a little bit thicker than other tights that I’ve worn, and I find that they hold up over a lot of events. I do obstacle course races, so the fabric takes a beating when I’m crawling, rolling, sliding and climbing. Each pair has lasted me a full year of hardcore racing. I do long distance and ultra03athon length obstacle course races. I wore one pair for a 100-mile mountain running race as well as multiple 24 hour obstacle course races. I’ve never had an issue.
Im using that for OCR - running and I can garantitee : is the best brand ever !!!
Another great product from marena Sport! This one is my second favorite right now only to the 3/4 length/K04i Pants. If you have used the previous version (Pro Leggings with the Drawstring) these do have a couple of distinct differences that at first were a concern to me but actually ended up not being an issue.1) Compared to the Pro Leggings W/ Drawstring the Elite Pants have none. Obviously I thought that this 05 become an issue with the pants sliding down in races but that was not an issue. The waist band on these is thicker so it stays up fine. I recently wore these on a 200 mile relay race and did my 35 miles of the race without any issues. They never started to slide down and I had no chaffing at all.2) The Crotch on these appears to be pretty flat when you pull these out of the box. This was a concern for obvious comfort reasons especially since the extra space was added on the pro edition leggings years ago. This ended up NOT being an issue either and they fit well and there were no issues with keeping the boys downstairs comfy while competing and working out.All in all its another great product. I still get the great benefits of the recovery and sleep in them multiple times a week if not every night.
