    Does the job

Fabric is soft. Nice to have both the hooks and the zipper, as well as adjustable shoulder strap, which makes it easier to get vest on. Works very well post-surgery. Short Vest - Style No. MVS

    Wish i had purchased sooner

I bought this a couple weeks after i got a double mastectomy. You can really feel the difference between this and cheaper compression garments. I wish i had had it right after i was done with the ace bandage - healing has been smoother because it stays put. I am very curvy so it’s nice to have one that stops above the waist. I recommend wearing it over a tshirt to avoid skin irritation.

    High Quality

The recovery binder is really nice quality, definitely something I trust to help me post-op top surgery. The sizing part is the only reason I docked a point. The directions on how to size were unhelpful. In order to have this when I have surgery, I had to measure before my top surgery. I didn't know if I should measure above or below my *******. Or what to do if I fall between sizes. I'm 108 lbs, 5'3" and I got the xs. I will update this review once I'm officially post op

    90% perfect

Was recommended these vests by my surgeon. Much more comfortable than the post surgery ace bandage that I spent my first 5 days Post op in. The one flaw for me was that I have a very rectangular body. These are made for more of a V shape torso, broad on top narrow at the waist. The bottom band was incredibly tight to the point of it being hard to breath around my diaphragm, while the top was just tight enough for compression around my pecs. After reading reviews I followed another reviewer recommendation and had my fiancée cut the bottom band to relieve some of the compression around my diaphragm. We made one cut on each side and I could immediately breath again without losing any compression around my pecs. I’m 5’3, 140 lbs (muscular rectangular torso) and I ordered a size small.

    Good, but...

If you are a big person with a large stomach, the band at the bottom is horribly painful. Within a few hours it feels like your ribs are being crushed and bruised, and it will become hard to take full breaths. Since the only function of the bottom band is to hold the vest in place and prevent fabric from rolling up, I cut a slit halfway up each side of the band. The top part continues to compress well and I can breathe now. I also wrap an ace bandage around for additional compression as advised by surgeon.
