This binder is better than what your surgeon may give you but if it happens to be the same one or something you like, at least buy this one as an alternative to wear when the other is soiled. I loved mine. I was able to apply the compression where I felt I needed it the most which for me, was the bottom half of my abdomen. I am 2 weeks post-op TT and my swelling is coming down at a good pace due to the subtle but good compression that this device gives.

The ab binder the surgical clinic gave me post op was making my recovery HORRIBLE. It was a 1size 1fit 1shape FITS ALL and that’s not the case. Having a breast reduction and TT I needed to be able to adjust my compression to be more bottom less squeezing on top. One of the post op mgrs told me about this and I immediately ordered and it’s has made this day 13 post op a 10/10. I wish I would’ve purchased this prior to my surgery as one of my necessities.

After a panniculectomy and lipo suction of the flanks and back, I wore a compression garment that caused chafing in the groin area. This binder was the perfect alternative. I got the support in the areas that needed it so I could take a break from the faja. The adjustable straps made everything so much more comfortable but was also really supportive. I was able to sleep in the binder and wear the faja in the day. No skin irritation.
