United StatesI would say that the overall product is a good one. The only issue I qoukd say is that I sized it wrong. I based the size I bought (M) on my weight/body size immediately after surgery (lipo for fat grafting/breast reconstruction), that was wrong. I should have gotten a size down and bought the (S) b/c now all the swelling & water retention is subsiding and the garment is too big. It rolls down and the crotch area is all over the place. I am disappointed b/c it was so expensive and I only could get 2 weeks wear out of it. I am now having to purchase 2 additional ones to make up for my error. Keep this in mind when choosing your size. I would highly recommend going with a size down from what you normally would wear
United StatesAfter the first few days I was able to manage on my own with fastening. After 2 weeks, though, the hem around the leg started separating. I will buy another as I have 4 more weeks, and need to be able change daily without waiting for wash/dry. I like to hang dry so zipper doesn't curl.
United StatesBought 2 of these for post op. I chose size according to size chart and my pre surgery size as no other instructions were noted. The garment was too small. There is no advice to take post surgery swelling into account when sizing. Especially in stage 1 garments. The company does not allow you to return or exchange sizes once you open package. Whether you try it on or not, if package is open it is not returnable. Thankfully I didn’t open the other package to see color. I returned the un opened package but at my cost! $16.00 to send back! At least give a pre paid label if you aren’t going to accept returns. I feel duped. Surgery not only puts a strain on you physically, but also mentally and emotionally. The company of Marena was a total let down. Purchased different garments from another company with better policies and customer service. Will not recommend
United StatesThe strength and quality of the girdle is fantastic. However the location of the clasps and zipper on one side creates unwanted gathering and bulges. The side without the zipper is great.
United StatesThe material of Marena products is the best. It’s a little long for me since I have a short torso but it is still comfortable. I am buying the zipperless products now that I am on a later stage of my recovery.
