I ordered this thinking it was one whole garment. There is NO space between what I presume is the model's sport bra and the girdle, plus they literally use the word "bodysuit" in the description. When the garment arrived, I took it out of the packaging, because I had no reason to assume it would be not what I expected. Low and behold, it's just bottoms. When I reached out to the company asking if there was anything at all they could do, they basically just regurgitated their return policy at me, which normally I'd completely understand but I only bought this product due to their misrepresentation of the product. Since I couldn't return it anyway, I then decided to at least try it to see if I could make it work for what I needed. It was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The legs fit perfectly, but the "elastic" band pinched and pressed way too hard, not to mention the fabric itself was extremely uncomfortable and irritated my skin. The band pinched so tightly in fact that it moved my body around in such a way that would INHIBIT healing, making the garment altogether useless. $134 down the drain. I'm really angry and upset. I have never ever had an issue with this company ever and have always been extremely happy with the products I've received. They should replace these photos with photos that accurately represent the product, and take the word "bodysuit" out of the description completely. I am certain I'm not the only person to make this mistake, and most likely won't be the last.
I ordered this Marena item at the recommendation of my surgeon for after a tummy tuck, and thigh lift. I chose the size medium according to my measurements. However, the unforgiving nature of the hooks and zipper did not allow for the increased swelling in the days after my procedure. At one point, I nearly passed out because of the constriction around my mid-section because the garment decreased the flow of blood so much. I tried the large size, but it still did not work and was so uncomfortable and at times painful to wear, I tossed both of them and found a Lululemon soft-stretch full length, high-waisted snug legging that works perfectly. It provides just enough pressure but is soft and gives with the changes my body is undergoing. There are stages for compression garments. Do your research. Too tight of a garment initially, reduces blood flow and hinders healing and can actually cause problems. Thank goodness I listened to my body.
Excellent and comfortable compression
My overall experience was truly great, I love these girdles. The Marena brand will always be my go to brand for girdles. Love this product.
